Prepare to be uplifted and transported in revelatory light—and shadow—from the heavens above as well as within “your different selves.”Miriam Sagan’s Luminosity invites you to contemplate the “loneliness/ of beauty” and “the architecture/ of suffering,” knowing, however, that “Buddha nature is everywhere” and that truth will always arise from “a fog bank/ of lies.” Luminosity is wildly, boldly illuminating.

Psyche’s Scroll (The Poetry Box, 2018)
Athabaskan Fractal: Poems of the Far North (Cirque Press, 2019)

Luminosity celebrates life in all its facets, marrying the poles of love and grief, hope and disillusionment, courage and fear. Sagan's passion for language rises to the surface on every page as she braids humor and sorrow like hair. "I promise myself I'll return," Sagan writes, "I'll make it right/ next time, I'll love all of you."
Patagonian Road: a Year Alone Through Latin America (Santa Fe Writers’ Project, 2017)
Editor-in-Chief of the Santa Fe Literary Review
